That’s a relatively (in)famous photo. Nixon liked bowling, and had a single-lane bowling alley added to the White House basement. As far as I can tell it’s still there.
It wasn’t Nixon. It was truman. There are two lanes. It’s still there. I got to bowl there a couple weeks ago.
