is one of those group coordinator accounts that boosts everything that mentions it (unless it has the ! In front) this is slightly better than following the hashtag because if you follow it, the posts will be boosted into your timeline, vs hashtag follows only surface the posts that match that your server already federates with?
(Maybe it only boosts from folks it follows?)I don’t know about “better” but it will surely be useful IF people around here mention it. I think it boosts posts that mention it and doesn’t follow anyone. Dunno what I was thinking there.
