    You could do it if you had to for some reason. But it would be the hackiest thing ever and not work very well.

        Yeah pretty much everything is in excel everywhere. It sucks but it happens.

        Yup, this year I knocked together a basic access database for tracking parts in the store room. Nothing fancy, but it’s taken over from 11 separate spreadsheets which have existed for the last 15 years or so … we’re saving so much time!

        I’ve replaced excel spreadsheets used for quality control in regulated industries. It was an interesting requirement gathering session, the best part is that they were only replacing it because the guy that made the spreadsheet left the company.
