So, how many years is $3.6 Billion in fraudulent reporting worth on the sentencing guidelines?
Civil courts have a lower standard of proof than criminal. That’s why when a civil court found that Trump had raped Carroll, he didn’t automatically go to prison. Same deal here: the relevant tax fraud would still need to be proved in criminal court.
Which do you suppose Trump fears more: penury or prison?
