When you let it get that low you get all the sludge at the bottom of the battery charge going into the phone. Anyways keep it above 25% charge.

For real, i don’t know what kinda weakass battery some of y’all got, but you need to get a better phone. 14% will last me like an hour of screen-on web browsing with picture-in-picture video playing simultaneously

14% could last me almost two hours of continuous use outside on mobile network with all the other wireless (wifi, bluetooth, gps, nfc) turned off, or around 40 minutes if i’m on call the whole time.

i mean, don’t y’all need to go outside sometimes? sometimes finding a charger is not an option.

I have a cheap ass Xiaomi smartphone (with a clean MIUI install rather than their bloatware-riddled default install) and a typical day of usage seldom eats 14% or more of battery.

(BTW, if it was now that Xiaomi removed bootloader unlocking, I wouldn’t buy a phone from them)

I don’t think I’ve ever seen the thing eat more that about 21% battery during a whole day of usage.

I suspect it’s a mix of my own usage pattern (for example, mobile data is usually off), having a processor which is on the weak side coupled with modern battery tech so it’s lower on consumption whilst the battery has more capacity than older ones, and having a non-bloated version of the OS so there isn’t a ton of crap running on the background.

There are three traffic circles in my state and they’re all within like 500 feet of me at the. I’m in bed right now. Went on a road trip to Washington state in statesia the other day. It’s like someone puked traffic circles. No one there knows how to drive in them neither it’s kinda weird.
