    I use a geekvape b60.

It’s the easiest, most bulletproof, consistent, and trouble free vape I have ever owned and I’ve been at this for 15 years.

Disposables are absolute garbage, some are shit out of the box and some shops don’t even allow returns, not to mention the waste of a dead lithium cell, a plastic case, leftover juice, wicking just tossed in a gutter.

My waste is one tiny metal coil and an empty bottle, once every two weeks.

    BUT

Convenience is convenience, fuck the planet, right, average consumer? Ban Keurig too, why stop?

Those coffee things should definitely be next.

K-Cups I’m sure they meant. It is the plastic cup that houses the myriad of different brands of coffee for the Keurig machine. They cause quite a lot of plastic waste.

Where I live just ask for €0.10 for the plastic cup. You will see people starting to use reusable cups just for that. I wonder why it has not been done, we have done it with plastic bags at the grocery and it works. But it’s maybe because people don’t want to bring a cup around for just a convenience, while at the grocery you are going with the full intent to needed to shop there.

The disposables are a product of bans in the first place.

“No flavored pods allowed to be sold”

So they just put them in disposables where the whole battery gets chucked. At least when all the kids used Juul they reused the fucking battery.

The solution was to ban the sale of any and all vaporizers at gas stations. Outside of head shops/vape shops. Places they card everyone. Im certain there aren’t any highschool kids trying to buy box mods and tanks at a head shop without being carded but now I can’t get flavored juice anymore either because the lawmakers understanding of the situation is so inept. So disposables

I have never been carded a single time in my life when buying cigarettes in France. Nor have I when buying shit from vape shops.

What about the whole disposable cigarettes that are fucking litter all over the city? Or the disposable cigarette industry responsible for probably millions of deaths at this point.

Cigarette butts are bad, yes. However, these disposable vapes are so much worse though: durable plastics, metal and most of all a lithium battery. All those things combine to make something that’s probably 1000x worse for the environment than a cigarette butt, for each vape disposed of.

And I know people who will go through multiple in a day

Where are you from? The only disposables I’ve been exposed to have been good for ~a week of heavy use. Genuinely curious

I’m in the UK, there’s some that seem to end up dead after half a heavy day in a beer garden.

I’ll admit the guy I’m thinking of does blast them like a chimney

Fair enough, sometimes you get bad ones. I was guilty of using disposables for a little while there and there’d be the odd week where I might have to buy 2 or 3. But it wasn’t frequent. If you’re getting shitfaced and hitting them non-stop (as drunk people do haha) it’s possible to burn the cotton and ruin the flavor too

Yeah, the ecig ‘crisis’ is a massive diversion from the money making tobacco industry. Not banning those, hm, can’t think why…

Edit - I do know that the tobacco industry owns a lot of the disposable ecigs as well
