Do you use something like #git to you house your writing locally? Is it all typed up with a typewriter, or is it all in loose leafs of paper?

Most of my writing lives in Ulysses (a Mac application) and gets synced through iCloud. Before I was a Mac person, I tried Scrivener and one or two online novel writing applications. I always keep backups somewhere in the cloud and on at least one computer.

One requirement for me is to have my writing available everywhere I am, so I don’t want it to be tied to one particular device.

Where does yours live, and why?

Use git (on notabug) for saving plans, emacs using fountain mode for scripting, Notion for wiki lore documentation. And Org mode on emacs for the simpler planning tasks (to do lists).
