      It was secret right up until it wasn’t, which I think happened Sunday.

      They had been buying up a ton of land around Travis Air Force Base since 2018 and no one, including the government, could figure out who was ultimately behind the purchases. There were security concerns with 75% of the land around a critical Airforce base being bought. It even has been discussed in the US Senate. Then the story broke that a group of silicon valley investors are planning on building a city.

        Sure, but lying to get more readers is not a good journalism practice. It creates a slippery slope about how much you can bend the truth just so you can get more clicks.
