    Baggy clothes will mostly handle any pain, just be very good with goggles and follow rules for minimum ranges where applicable. Worst injury I ever got from an airsoft pellet is a tiny scar on my knuckle I received coming around a corner in front of someone shooting. Maybe 2’ away and it looked liked I had picked a scab there. The further away you are the less it will sting until you hit a range where you have to listen for them hitting your clothes instead of feeling them

    You can upgrade Nerf guns fairly easily. I messed around with it a little last summer.

    Depending on your airsoft gun you may be able to reduce muzzle velocity, but you won’t hit much. They sting, just wear some baggy clothes and you’re fine.
