Yes, and I got one and a friend of mine was livid after I used it on him. Took him a month to find it, his mom was pissed and it was a whole thing.

There’s a homemade version of this I’ve heard of where they incorporated a photodiode or something, so it wouldn’t go off in the presence of light, making it even harder to find lol

I got one of a screaming goat and left it in the ceiling at my old job. I thought about getting a cat meowing one but didn’t want to commit to someone busting out the drywall to rescue an imaginary cat.
Heard from my old boss it took them 3 days to find the thing.
We actually had hidden a cat noise maker in the ceiling of the break room. Didn’t last long, though. Easy to access sub-ceilings.
