They talk about oral appliances. It’s basically a mouth guard that brings your lower jaw forward so your tongue doesn’t collapse into your airway. Then they combine “other therapies” which are surgical. They refer to adenoid removal, deviated septum repair, and turbinate reduction. Do all these things before CPAP, and the size of the pool of people who are going to 50% fail CPAP is a lot smaller.
I’m in that fail pool, pending septum surgery. Did a lot of research into alternatives.
