oblivious mtf here * is that a real thing? I mean, I guess that makes sense, but holy shit! There’s so much new shit in this new world than I ever thought about!
Yep, lifting your arms can stretch the scars out and/or distort the nipple (if you’ve had nipple grafts) due to the skin being pulled at as it heals, that’s how my surgeon explained it to me anyway. The amount of time to not lift your arms depends on the type of surgery I think? For me (double incision) it was 6 weeks of T-rex arms.
I really hope you meant MtF and not mrf (cause it’s ableist af), but yeah, raising the arms can put strain on the chest muscles and the incision sites, which can slow down the healing process and increase the risk of complications according to Dr. Patrick Briggs (Mar 22nd 2023)
Edit: definitely mtf, not mfr

Six WEEKS??? I would have to strap my arms down in case I forgot lol
That’s not necessary because it fucking hurts when you do forget, lol.
And then using scar cream and sunscreen religiously to avoid UV exposure and to sensitive scare tissue.

Yes! Honestly, not sure I’ve heard mfr before, but my initial guess is that it sounds the same as mf.
I kind of need to know now
Naw it’s mentally r-slur female. I figured mtf was the intended usage after checking your most recent posts. Thanks for confirming!
There are people not only using this phrase, but enough that they need an abbreviation for it? WTF
It’s from a “joke” from arrested development, according to Urbandictionary
