Hi,
having an Android phone as secondary, I would say:
best would be a custom rom like grapheneos (Pixel only), lineageos or e/os. They come with plenty alternative apps from the getgo.
Most Fossify apps are on F-Droid. They used to be known under the name “Simple Mobile Tools” and presented with orange app icons. The original author sold their brand/their userbase to an adware company, but the project lives on in form of this community-driven fork.

Second best solution would be to debloat your android and to search for substitutes in the F-Droid store.
But judgeing from the fossify site their apps look modern, well made and are available in F-Droid. Give them a try and report :-)

Ah. That is why the apps looked familiar. Was this fork quite recently? I still have the older apps installed.
The sale and fork happened in December 2023. So you probably want to switch at some point.
The situation started here: https://github.com/SimpleMobileTools/General-Discussion/issues/241
It ended there too I think, as far as tibbi was concerned. Iirc that was his only comment.
When he partnered with that shady company to release that shitty phone it was the start of the end.
