Can’t remember the exact reason, but i really liked the punic wars and i wanted to learn a single romance language. I decided to choose latin because of all the things written in it and understand the ties between all the romance languages.

Also, i think it sounds like a beautiful language, and the grammar; while kind of hard, is also quite pretty.
