Heyo, I thought why not try to bring in a little bit of life into this lemmy so: How is everyone doing, what are you progressing right now how do you spend you time in OSRS right now, how are you enjoying runefest? :)

I just got full void from pest control. Now I need to get into the fight caves and beat jad but I’m putting that off. Maybe I will give it a shot tonight.

In addition to what the other players have said, you can also do the “Beneath Cursed Sands” speedrun worlds trick to practice in Mor Ul Rek.

To do this, log into a Speedrun world, then start the Beneath Cursed Sands speedrun.

Use a minigame teleport to get to the Fight Pits, then walk past the fight caves entrance to the fire gate. You should have a fire cape in your inventory to get past the gate.

From there continue to the far end of the cave and talk to the guy sitting on a large throne. After talking a bit he’ll offer to have you do a combat test. The first one is against a single Jad.

On your way there, there’s a bank chest where you can grab an inventory of gear for the fight including a rune crossbow, food, and potions. Likely a bit under what you’ll be using for the real fight, but if you can do it with the crossbow, you’ll have an easy time with a blowpipe.

      Good luck!!

You should definitely do it! it’s honestly easier than you might think, it’s just the nerves at the end to make sure you don’t get hit off prayer, but getting to Jad is no problem.

And if it’s first time doing jad, you can try one of the “jad fight simulators” so you can practice some prayer switching! It can give some confidence if you have tried it a couple of times before trying it for real!
