Summary

Trump’s recent shift in Ukraine policy, including siding with Russia at the UN and proposing peace talks excluding Ukraine, has alarmed Western allies and weakened U.S. credibility.

European leaders fear his stance strengthens China and Russia, as countries seek alternative partners. Asian allies worry U.S. support for Taiwan may waver.

While Trump defends his approach as prioritizing U.S. interests, critics warn it could embolden Putin and destabilize Europe.

NATO’s future remains uncertain, with leaders questioning American commitment and preparing for a world where the U.S. is no longer a reliable ally.
