How many months did it take to do that? I’m pretty sure a strong approach would be met with a considerably more lethal response, though.
What I’ve seen on the ground here, too, is not complacency. The Democrats are, but the people are protesting almost every day somewhere in the country independent of party. It just hasn’t gotten violent (yet), as I think we need some of our gun crazies to turn on Trump.

Trumps trick is to get the stupidest rebels as his base, so the guys first to revolt are on his side now. Peak confusion.
