Gerald my goldfish had been fine this week but today an incident happened. My cat and I were reading the news and we had been in shock already when Gerald climbed out of the aquarium and made its way to the bathroom.

My cat Sylvester and I sat frozen on our desks when we heard a splash sound.

I detached myself from my chair finally and saw that the toilet seat was filled with water drops.

Weeks later in the news Gerald the goldfish was interviewed by a sea diving reporter.

“Yes, I feel great, thank you” – “I need to search on my own for food now, but this was the best decision in my life”
