Mondays is the busiest day of the week, so whenever my off-day falls on Monday I feel some type of way. I don’t know if anyone has this experience.

I know what you mean, I always feel really good when on a normal day where I’d be busy at work I’m off work for once. Especially in the span of normal working hours.

I’m in the middle of the sea over a 100 mile onshore, there’s little fun out here plus I’m really into outdoor stuffs like hiking and skiing.

Ahh I know what you mean. Based on your comments and username I can somewhat relate!

Used to be a traveling automation engineer and I’ve spent a lot of time at the sea as well. But I quit that job after 3 years because I felt like I hadn’t enjoyed my free time much in those 3 years (there isn’t much to do on big ships either). I got a job with normal working hours and am much happier.

But of course not everyone suffers from that kind of a job - some other people loved that job so I can understand if you like yours as well. Hope you take care of yourself though!

Oh wow, that’s a long career in difficult environments! Well as long as you like it that’s the most important thing!
