Yeah, I just saw a thread from a few days ago trying to ban me. A big thread from a few weeks ago advocated banning me across the entire fediverse.
All because I post news articles about Trump. I don’t write them. And I don’t even advocate for everything he does. But I post opinions against the norm, so they wanna ban me!
If ya go to your search bar and search for “I’m Calling For the Fediverse to Ban UniversalMonk” thread, it was posted to Fediverse@lemmy.world), you’ll see they are mad just because I post about Trump. Even tho I didn’t vote for him! And they wanted me posted from the entire fediverse! lmao
Over 300 upvotes. I have a picture of it in my profile. I’d post the link, but I don’t know how to link to the article when it’s on a different instance.
Like they are working sooo hard to make this an echo chamber.
By the way, I just noticed your instance name.I’m on that instance! Seems more balanced than most!
Instance if very small - not much traffic and local content yet. I sometimes add some interesting (imho) libertarian stuff there. Currently mainly about economics and Argentina. I’m not the admin - that’s Bobr
