    There are primary elections

    Right…

Are you saying your happy with the level of primary we got last election?

You think the DNC declaring it over before states that vote reaches double digits is enough?

Because if it was, we wouldn’t be talking about how to get trump out of office right now.

We tried forcing a candidate more conservative than Dem voters want, and it failed.

Look up Jerry Falwell and his Moral Majority.

Jerry decided he wanted to run the GOP so he went out and organized.

If a town’s GOP club had had twenty people show up to pick tghe candidate for clerk, Jerry’s chruch folk would show up with fifty.

Jerry Falwell and his Moral Majority.

What does Republican primaries almost 50 years ago for county seats have to do with the 2024 Dem presidential primary?

Do you honestly think those are the same?

There’s a whole lot to unpack here, so I want to see where we’re starting from.

        1. Are you aware parties aren’t bound by primaries and can legally run anyone they want in a general?

        2. Are you aware a county clerk seat is different than US president?

        3. Are you aware that things have changed since 1979?

Luckily I have a lot of faith in Ken Martin and am optimistic he’ll allow for fair primaries and the DNC will keep it’s finger off the scale.

I think Republicans will lose the slim House majority, maybe even the Senate.

But your question was vague, so I had to assume what exactly you meant.

Anyways that was completely unrelated to the comment you replied to…

I’m trying to help you understand an important topic and path to beating fascism, but if you’re just gonna try vauge gotcha questions and want a slap fight…

My time is likely better spent elsewhere I’m afraid.
