@Irelephant 🤔 But, where did you find this? I don’t see this in the Play Store or in the App Store.
Is this just a result of imagination? :mastowink:Hi, This was a while ago (2 months), so they could have dropped it since then.
It also only came up as an ad when you searched for “firefox”.
@Irelephant "It also only came up as an ad when you searched for “firefox”.”
When you search where? In the Play Store?!Yes, the play store.
@Irelephant But it’s strange. Maybe Brave had two apps published, one that would appear in normal situations, like when searching “Brave”, and one when searching for “Firefox”? Otherwise, how would it have been able to control what appears when tapping on it in the Play Store?
Its an ad they paid for, to appear when you search for “firefox”.
Why?
It’s petty af and makes little sense targeting the only non-Chrome browser which also has like the smallest user share.
Why wouldn’t they try and target Chrome or Edge users?
It only shows up that way when you search Firefox
Yeah I just saw in the other thread that this is just an ad so I misunderstood the initial post.
Idk, how would they target? Mozilla just can’t help themselves
