Considering how well Ukraine treats its prisoners of war (as opposed to how well Russia and North Korea treat their soldiers), this may very well be the best thing that’s ever happened to them.
Yeah. I hope they get a better life now.
Pretty sure NK conditions their soldiers to think the good treatment is a trap and the wardens are just waiting for them to drop their guard.

How? They will be freed, naturalized?
Freed, I’d hope. At some point. Hopefully not returned to North Korea. Unless they have family or something. Difficult situation.
Not sure. Their families are still stuck there.
