Something like a JDAM to the forehead has an entirely different end-user experience than a drone buzzing in the distance and your only option is to not be the slowest or most visible person around.
Watch the drone videos, if you can handle that, and you will see so many people just sit there and wait for the end. Granted, some of that is due to the low morale situation in the Russian army, but what else could they do? They can run, try and shoot the drone with an AK and get lucky, throw something and maybe survive, kill themself, or hope they take a drone to the head instead of a slow and painful death after getting hit in the legs or gut.
Man I love drone warfare, but I would hate to be subjected to it.
