December saw a number of important developments at the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB). The month started well for unions but ended badly. Some observers complained of whiplash! THE GOOD On December 10, the five-member board, still under Democratic control, issued a long-awaited decision freeing unions from the most deleterious features of management-rights clauses. The case, Endurance Environmental Solutions, LLC, overruled MV Transportation, a 2019 decree from Donald Trump’s first term in office.
There is a clear difference between how police treat unarmed protesters and how they treat protestors when a large amount have rifles and vests.
I have a feeling upcoming union protests will have a much stronger response from police in the next couple years.
Look up why they originally banned machine guns for private ownership. Or what the US Army Air Force’s first bombing mission was.
I still have trouble accepting how few people know that.
It blows my mind that it’s largely forgotten that we had to (as private citizens) go to fucking war with companies in the first place.
What was the bombing?
Battle of Blair Mountain.
