      I thought you just strung together that corporate buzz bomb as satire, then I looked at the article.

      People who think and speak that way are making decisions about creative content…and not understanding why so much of it sucks.

    kinda reads like they’re becoming a boring tv channel.

    i’m paraphrasing but this article is pretty much saying “let’s just ditch all original content & rely on syndication of older shows the younger generations don’t give a shit about & also keep a focus on advertising revenue.”

      I mean younger folks don’t generally have cable anyways, and Comedy Central and MTV have relied on cheap programming like reruns and reality tv for at least 15 years

        More like 25 years. Seriously I remember mtv turning into shit reality shows that played on repeat when kñi was in high school, and I’m old now…

        For like a decade they took over the role of producing comedy specials when HBO got out of the game, but that niche seems to have been filled by Netflix recently.
