Pope Francis said on Sunday that the Catholic Church is open to everyone, including the gay community, and that it has a duty to accompany them on a personal path of spirituality but within the framework of its rules.

I don’t view the church isn’t wholly evil, but they’ve manipulated people into negative directions so many times I just can’t see them as anything other than a determent to modern society. if they (the excitedly religious) would just stay in their own lane and make rules for themselves and not absolutely everyone dear fucking God what a greater world this would be.
