The accounts only show the email used right now. Not helpful if using the same email address in different instances.

What? Your email is displayed? Are you sure mate? Are you confusing \< username @ instancename > with an email address because it has an at sign?
Yes. I’m sure. Click “Profile”, now click “Accounts”.
For me it shows only user names, which are both the same for my two accounts, so I agree with the „please add instance“ part.
Echoing this but slightly different. I have the same username on multiple instances but they’re impossible to tell apart in the accounts picker
