The Las Vegas GP toned itself down in year two, but retained what makes it so unique.

I’ve enjoyed both visits to the track - better than Miami and could become my fav stateside event - we’ll see. I’d love to know the reason for the downvote.

Probably someone disagrees with your opinion and uses the downvote button as a disagreement button. There is no reddiquette here (not that it was ever followed on Reddit).

Sometimes it really annoys me, because I would like the chance to be shown a different perspective and perhaps respond to it, but instead just a downvote.

This isn’t directly related to the article, but I think the varieties of climates we’re seeing in a race season now is increasing unpredictable and therefore excitement. Mercedes didn’t expect to be so fast in Las Vegas but I think they believe the cold weather caused them to be way faster than expected.

I like that we have cold races, sandy races, high-altitude races, humid races, night races, and all the other ways to mix it up a bit.
