No, lol. Twitter will drift further to the right (thus appealing to an evergrowing demographic) but it wont end because of bluesky.

No. He doesn’t need people to keep the platform running. He doesn’t need advertisers. He needs his Russian bots. He needs news organizations to pay attention to the crap going on there. That’s it.

He’s richer than god and owning the platform is paying dividends.

At the same time, most people in my country that engage in politics still use Twitter. Even though they’re often left-leaning. It’s so annoying.

Here’s hoping! Bluesky is nice. The people are nice. And the subscribe-to-blocklist shit is amazing. Never have to see some maga fuckwit spouting poorly spelled hatred again.
Left Xitter in 2016, but Bluesky has me enjoying the format again.

To allow someone else to decide what you see and don’t see is a very smug centrist lib thing to do.

Dems (and I’m NOT one because I consider myself an actual leftist who supports free speech) tend to think that censorship is good. IMO, all it does is create more polarization and torpedoes any inroads we might’ve had toward coming to an understanding. But instead, we put on blinders and hide in our safe spaces. It’s embarrassing.
