Since we’re done with a little over half the year, just wanted to hear what your favorites were.
Personally, I was extremely surprised by OT2. They seemed to have made a lot of positive changes to the game since OT1.
The Xenolade Chronicles 3 final DLC is excellent if you’ve been following the story for…uh…13 years or so.
Seriously good stuff.
Uh now I gotta buy it. The ending of the game was a bit of a cliffhanger tbh
No spoilers please!
No spoilers here. But if you get a chance be sure to play it.
As a total Xenoblade weeb, Future Redeemed is probably my GOTY right now.
XC3 was the best game of 2022, and it’s not even close for me.
XC3 might be my favorite game of all time
It’s way up there for me.

It felt like the final big battle in Endgame where it was like, “Holy crap they did it.”
As someone who’s Played all the Trails In The Sky, Trails from Zero/to Azure, and Cold Steel games, Trails Into Reverie has been real nice after playing the officially translated versions of Zero/Azure.
Of course all the same horrible tropes and plot armor still exists in this game, but considering how beyond knee deep I am in this franchise, there’s no turning back for me now.
I honestly don’t think anyone can (or should) play Reverie without playing ALL 9 previous games (which is an insane amount of time for someone to spend catching up), as it will make almost no sense without the context of the previous games. I am, however, incredibly glad that it exists and I’m happy to see this as a final good bye to the Zero/Azure and Cold Steel arcs.
Octopath 2!
