They are also are using these intercept missiles to defend civilian shipping.

There’s an argument to discuss regarding entanglements with global shipping, Israel, and it’s enemies. But using a missile to save a life of a civilian sailor is also “sane and agreeable” as far as global military actions go…

For sure, I 100% agree on that, though it is an angle I didn’t think about in my.original comment.

They are not defending civilian shipping. They are protecting Israel from the consequences of its genocide making them equally guilty.

Since Oct 9 2023 Israel has put a blockade on Gaza preventing food, water, gas and electricity from entering.

“I have ordered a complete siege on the Gaza Strip. There will be no electricity, no food, no fuel, everything is closed,” Gallant says following an assessment at the IDF Southern Command in Beersheba.

“We are fighting human animals and we are acting accordingly,” he adds.

Yemen has every right to respond in kind and enforce a blockade on Israel until the blockade on Gaza is lifted. The serious question is why is the US enabling and protecting Israel? We know Biden loves killing Arab women and children but is that the only reason why?

There are civilian ships in the guild of Aden and the red sea being targeted. There are US missiles defending them. That’s a fact. Many of those ships are not affiliated with Israel in any way

WHY that’s happening is not part of my comment.

The blockade includes all non-Israeli ships going to Israeli ports. You are concerned with this while ignoring that Israel’s blockade on Gaza went as far as killing aid workers. Yemen’s blockade has always been conditional on lifting the blockade on Gaza and allowing aid in.

I’m not ignoring shit, I simply haven’t commented on it. It is a rational thing to do to protect civilian ships. Hard stop.

Moving from that fact to appease your conversation:

Yes Israel is doing those things. Yemen should take it up with them, or if they insist the United States is worth fighting over the topic, they should target us military assets. Not civilians. By doing so they are no better in quality than Israel, only better by quantity… Which is a very short moral pedestal to stand on

You are just racist. If it were Ukrainians that are starving you would support anyone doing anything to end the blockade. Yemen is acting within its right, the US is not only enabling the genocide by sending Israel the weapons, it is also preventing anyone from doing anything about it.

The US doesn’t care about international law or protecting civilian ships. They could have stopped the genocide but didn’t, they wouldn’t even condition military aid to Israel on allowing food and medicine into Gaza.

Bullshit. I’ve commented here and elsewhere that what is happening in gaza is genocide.

The blockade has nothing to do with feeding gazans. If Yemen was securing the ships then trying to move the material into Gaza that would be another story. Shooting at those civilian ships, especially those not bound for Israel at all, is not effective support for Gaza.

Nothing Yemen is doing is materially helping gazans.

Edit no where in my comment did I discuss race. You just picked a spicy word out of a hat and tried to be rude with it. Oops
