Nice Wednesday, maybe a little on the easier side? The wordplay in the themers was just the right amount of zany, and I appreciated the secondary theme (?) of elections, voting, voting rights, and related activism. Which seems especially relevant given today’s headlines.
also, a remarkably clean fill! Not a lot of crosswordese in here, and even the simpler answers have some creative cluing
E.g. “ANDY” as the college-goer in Toy Story 3, “ZED” for end of the London Blitz. ERAS MED WAS IDO AKA maybe among the weaker fill, but still not too bad overall and didn’t distract from a pretty smooth and fun ride.
