I went out to the Tucson Mt Park and took some comet photos tonight. I was a bit annoyed because it was super dim compared to the last few nights but I have been to busy to get out of town for some nice photos until today.

Awesome photo. I’ve been bummed that the first few nights of the comet I was working, or it was just too low on the horizon and was obscured by the mountains around me. Finally was able to get a decent photo today, but it’s not nearly as impressive as last weekend.

That’s so pretty! I assume this was a long exposure and the sky wasn’t actually that bright?

Excellent. From where I live (Hertfordshire UK) it was too close to the horizon and blocked by house and trees. See.you again in 80000 years!

How bright is it currently, do you think you could see it from suburbs with light pollution or do you really need to be somewhere dark? I keep forgetting about it.
