That said, preschool teacher would not have come to mind had it not been in the title. It’s just a nice outfit that’s being worn well!

Fits beautifully, curves gracefully, layers well, would also look good with boots, I don’t see pockets but there’s definitely potential for them, and you can move around in it without unwanted exposure. Well done you!
@Mouselemming thank you! It was a 2 yard remnant from my stash. It was a choice between pockets or ruffle and the ruffle won. I call it a win because I can’t believe I made it with only 2 yards.
Love the ruffle. You could always add side-seam pockets from a different scrap of material if you find yourself wanting somewhere to put your phone and keys.
I imagine denim is hard to sew, because it’s thick and stiff. Did you have any particular trouble?
@clay_pidgin No, this is a lighter one. I don’t think it would be appropriate for jeans, but it’s heavier than chambray.
