During a video address directed at the people of Lebanon, Netanyahu said: "You have an opportunity to save Lebanon before it falls into the abyss of a long war that will lead to destruction and suffering like we see in Gaza.

Wasn’t it israel starting the thing this time with attacks within a sovereign country?

Israel bombing an embassy is slightly different than firing rockets at military bases in occupied territory.

There is a case to be made for Hezbollah firing rockets after oct7 but israel was already occupying the Lebanese Shebaa Farms before that.

You misspelled bombing an embassy where people made plans to shoot rockets at children playing soccer

Lying about which particular side restarted a frozen border conflict and, proven wrong, moving to the argument that it’s suddenly insignificant is retarded

Had Hezbollah not attacked Israel all these people would be alive

Israel bombed the Druze kids. It was a confirmed Iron Dome rocket failure. You are woefully misinformed.

If by ‘confirmed’ you mean ‘claimed by Hezbollah after the damage became apparent, without any evidence whatsoever’ then yeah, I guess a lot of other things were ‘confirmed’ that mysteriously fit your narrative.

Almaydeen wrote a great article pointing out that the impact crater is far too small for a 50kg Falaq1 rocket warhead which israel claims caused the explosion

This is the impact crater in Majdal Shams:

This is a known impact of a Falaq1 rocket:

So the blast crater looks nothing like you’d expect. And Falaq1 rockets do not blast into flames but rather have a big shockwave warhead, as they burn all their fuel on launch. The fences being burnt like this makes no sense.

In contrast the explosion looked exactly like previous Iron Dome failures.

Those impact craters look very comparable to me… What do you suppose it should look like?

Do you consider your source to be unbiased towards Israel?

edit: I must say as I read some more on that site or yours that I’d consider them childishly biased against anything ““Israel””…

Can you provide your comparison with ‘previous Iron Dome failures’?

I think this article from AP is much more valuable. They cite, among others, a weapons expert from HRW and the doctor that treated the wounded. What makes you think these people are lying and your source is definitively correct?

A small pile of moved sand looks comparable to a deep hole in the ground?.. There’s absolutely no way a Falaq-1 rocket produces the explosion which took place in Majdal Shams.

Any time the environment looks burnt and there was a large fireball it’s pretty much guaranteed it was a misfired interceptor. Interceptors contain a large amount of fuel which is used to steer the missile, whereas Hezbollah rockets contain high powered explosives which create a shockwave.

Testimonies from locals say it was an interceptor as well.

No, even Al Jazeera admits here that Hezbollah (or back then, rather the PLO, followed by Hezbollah later) was the first to strike.

Also, Hezbollah is funded by Iran, which is run by religious extremists that want to eradicate all Jews. Israel, however badly, has been defending itself for decades.

There are many bad actors in this conflict, on all sides, and they all need to be stopped.
