It appears to be between 2 and 3 years away. I imagine that it’d be urgent to adopt Macron’s policy proposals to avert such a situation, then.

He just wants to fuck up the country enough that it’s beyond repair by the left by then. I just hope the left gets strong enough not to have to depend on Melanchon. I hate him as much as Macron. Maybe more.
