4 year tenures in the top 10… Managerial cycles are getting really short now.
But atleast there’s a new crop of managers coming through and I suspect we’ll have a few long term appointments now.
Kompamy imo (I know this is an unpopular opinion), Arteta, Slot is unlikely simply bc the person that comes in to fill big boots and doesn’t live up to their success is a failure no matter if its reasonable or not. A few in Spain look set for the long term.
I’d say Ange but he has outgrown Tottenham. Xabi has similarly outgrown Bayer.
Frank Schmidt is a great coach. It will be interesting to see how Heidenheim manages European football along with domestic play.
Hopefully they do well, they did well in the qualifiers, a bit better than I expected to see but hopefully injuries don’t have a giant impact on them.
