    Look, Aragon is described in the source material as of pale completion, dark hair with grey flecks, and green eyes. He is Dúnedain, descended from the numenorean (sp), which are also described as pale skinned, dark haired, and tall. To me, that suggests Tolkien wrote him white.

    But guess what: people can make whatever adaptions they want. He’s a fictitious character.

    If you don’t like it, just don’t consume it!

      Also, canonically Aragorn and the Numenoreans can’t grow beards, but no one is ever mad about that lol

      EDIT: Numenoreans can grow beards, but not the royal line, which is part elvish

        Thought it was that it took way longer for them to hit “beard age”

        Also the pictured Aragon has a beard to so that’s a moot point

      Maybe he’s just pale for a human, because all humans are black in LOTR. The elves are brown, and that’s pale from a human perspective.
