The problem of outdated answers indeed make it quite unusable for certain type of questions. Try finding any Java question if you’re a newbie and want to use a modern tech stack, all you find are answers from 15 years ago (literally) with a thousand up votes that all no longer work.
It of course depends on the language, but a big fat warning when an answer is more than 5 years old, with an ability to filter these out by default, would be great.
