This is how you get people to kamikaze instead of surrendering. If they’re gonna die anyways, might as well take some enemies with them.
That’s the argument made on one of the interviews in a sky news video on this. That Russia is making their troops “zero” surrendering Ukrainians to ensure they, the russians, won’t surrender in the future.
Because they already made surrendering impossible by murdering Ukrainians.
And to show their guys… “see Sergey … this is how it’s done… we do it… they do it… it’s normal”.
