    RTO was never about retention or productivity. It’s always been about getting those who prefer WFT to leave without having to pay severance, and controlling those who stay.

    Yeah everyone already knows this, execs aren’t dumb, they just wanted to use it to quietly lay off people.

    Most return to office mandates are layoffs in disguise. The goal is to make people uncomfortable, so they leave.
