Poor little thing was alone in the middle of nowhere on the yellow line looking like a piece of wood, until it moved a little as I passed by. Had no other choice to take her home, feed her and now she is going to the vet today!

Good on you for rescuing her! Definitely an eye infection and most likely some respiratory issues, which are common with kitten rescues. The vet should get her on some antibiotics and with good love and care, she should be okay.

We have a rescue kitten that did lose an eye due to infections, but he’s now 18 months old and just a feisty ball of energy that also loves to cuddle. Wishing you the best of luck with this one!

I just hope she goes through it quickly and can start living a normalish kitten life from now on.

This is almost exactly how I found my Lil’ Bitty. No rain, but she was just in the middle of the road and I thought it was a McDonalds bag. I went to straddle it (I don’t trust shit head kids not to put nails or something stupid in them) and it started pulling itself off the road. Now she is the sweetest thing in the world.

Thank you for being an awesome person and rescuing this sweet baby. Cat tax included

Only being a basic human, I don’t know how someone could just ignore her being there.

They where awesome, got saline injection to deal with dehydration, some antibiotics, medicated food and some medicine to help with the digestion due to antibiotics, ointment for her eyes.

They cleaned her ears and eyes good.

Thanks! I have the best friend to help me, she has a deep love for pets (4 dogs, 2 Cats, 3 Snakes). She is going with her to the vet while I work and offered to pay for it until I can repay her as I am short on $ right now. I live in her basement apartment so we will help eachother take care of her. I am lucky to have her as a friend.
