I still use Reddit for communities that didn’t migrate but I didn’t fully appreciate what the mods did by shutting down Melbourne for an extended time.
I hope we can grow this community though, there’s room for both unless Reddit implodes and goes under.

Well that’s the more succinct version yes. There’s a lot to be said for a smooth user interface experience I guess. And familiarity of the platform.
