It’s not about their different politics though. It’s about them being dishonest liars who’ll say or do whatever they need to in the moment to accomplish end they want.

Newt Gingrich was a lying piece of shit before Trump was even a blip on the radar.

I don’t disagree with that either … but maga people were newt people.

But it’s important to not make categorical errors… Many conservative Americans aren’t like that. (Maybe a small many, but still)

If you actually want the Dems to win the election, then you should be correct in your language. Otherwise you hand the other side votes.

Disagree, they may have been predecessors but as I said Trump wasn’t even a blip on the radar yet. You might as well say Grover Norquist was a MAGAt. If we’re tracing the toxicity back we can go all the way back to FDR. The right is a party of failed policies and incorrect theories, full stop.

            You are not understanding me.

I’m saying the people who are dumb enough to fall for populist bullshit and lies… and never check the evidence themselves… fall for both of these conmen.

But there are conservative Americans that don’t also. It’s not hard to understand. Accurate language is important.

I understand very well that you’re trying play the No True Scotsman card.

85% of Conservative comgresspeople signed Norquists tax pledge by 2012 and Gingrich led the “Republican Revolution” in 1994, they’re all like this. The ones you think “don’t” sure seem to support the same policies as the ones who do, they’re just quieter about it.

If you’re unhappy with how the Republican party is perceived I’d recommend leaving it as it’s corrupt to the core and the only people still involved are grifters and useful idiots.

Also, I’m Irish. Although I briefly lived in the states I am definitely not republican lol.

And also, I’m a creative. Musician, actor… I’m left leaning… That’s why I criticised your speech. I am trying to help the Dems get votes here.

                Nope.

                Just saying language is important.

If I publicly said ‘every conservative Americans wants a king,’ rather than something like ‘every maga supporter wants a king…’

Well, the first statement just pushes idiots cotes to trump (and considering the American education system, well it has it’s gaps, shall we say…)

You Are just handing him votes, AND saying something incorrect on the surface.

Of course there is nuance, and you should be able to talk with hyperbole and fun rhetoric…

But if it’s handing them votes… Cos they don’t understand hyperbole… Then what is your actual goal here.

Ah you’re not an American, suffice to say things are complicated here and I’m not “handing anyone votes” by calling the Republican party liars and thieves. Anyone who pretends I am would’ve never voted against that party anyway.

                    I have lived there… As I said.

You did it again. Republicans aren’t thieves and liars. But anyone who supports trump is. (Which is absolutely what’s important right not. I hope you remember that at some point.)
