I would like to change my Gmail for Proton Mail. The monthly option for Mail Plus seems reasonable to me. The cost for Unlimited seems a bit too high. I don’t like paying 1 or 2 years in advance.

Proton Support said it is impossible to combine Proton Mail Plus monthly with the Pass Plus for 12 euros/year.

Is there really no possibility?

SL premium does include more features (e.g custom domains, multiple mailboxes) compared to Pass Plus. It you‘d as example count in such features (if you need them) from SL premium + Mail Plus + want Proton Pass, then you could indeed already think of Unlimited.

I do use a custom domain because I’d like to be able to switch from SL if I ever have a reason to do so, but I have no use for multiple mailboxes (yet), so I guess I’ll be keeping my current arrangement.

I have no need for the actual password management from Pass, as I’m quite happy with my KeePass + Dropbox (to be moved to Proton Drive when they release a Mac app) setup.

I try not to depend too much in one company/service, but Proton seems to be finding a way to suck me in.
