Seems presumptuous they use an 8 bit byte in middle earth. I’d expect more like 20 bits, but divided between men, elves, and dwarfs. Well, except one of those bits is the one true bit, having spooky control over the other bits. Clearly middle earth computation is quantum.
Dont think its quantum. Its all deterministic and based on the music of the ainur. So its analog.
What about the Hobble…, half-hobbyte…?
hobnibble ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Nice!
Some may say, hobnobble…
Does not sound as good as yours though, hahaha
But what about second hobnibble?
Hobword, Hoblong, Hobblock, Hobpage, Hobtor, Hobtrack, Hobplatter
Now do a kilobyte
Best i can do is
Well, you are not wrong ;)
Am I crazy… But wouldn’t 1 hobbyte equal 8 Hobbits?
So does this mean that the “Second Breakfast” contingent of the Fellowship can be stored in one Hobnibble? Seems apt.
Hubba Hoe Hobbtet
I am missing Hobword, Hobdword, Hobqword 🧐
