Probably more effective to give to a food pantry to avoid the corporate profit cut, but the thought is very nice.
Many restaurants let people pay when they pick up or get the food delivered. So doing this costs the restaurant money, not OP. That’s why he’s spoofing his info too, if he paid they probably wouldn’t care enough to ban the number.
Okay cool, I thought they were ordering online and pre paying.
I am not quite sure what the joke is about, could you explain? Those helmets seem to be used for preventing injuries in case of health conditions like epilepsy, but I can’t make a connection at all
They’re saying OP is slow and the helmet is there to prevent them from hurting themselves in the future.
OP isn’t paying for the order, they’re ordering over the phone for local pickup, which means they’d pay when they arrive. And OP isn’t going to the store for pickup…
Yeah, the last part I got, the first part looks like a bit of a stretch, but thanks I’ll think about it
wdym? He orders but never shows up and pays
Three birds with one stone is pretty good. Feed poor worker, screw corpos, fuck over exwife.
What is corporate profit cut?
The restaurant is making food and it cuts into their profit
But it has a happy employee and they work harder, making the restaurant more money.
What is corporate profit cut?
I’m guessing it means they’re calling franchise restaurants and not mom and pop shops.
I thought they’d be ordering online and paying in advance. But if not, sounds okay
Yeeah, so, don’t most restaurants just throw out the uneaten food nowadays, out of concern for getting sued over hygiene issues?
I worked at a restaurant a couple of years ago and we would just take excess food home still.
Calling the police right now! /s
It’s a theft thing. Middle managers are concerned about employees purposely making accidents so that they may then eat. It’s all about that money honey
I work for a pizza place and routinely take home orders that didn’t get picked up, maybe fancier restaurants just throw their stuff out. We also give those orders to people experiencing homelessnness if they stop in around closing time.
That’s good to hear ❤️
They have that policy, but most shift managers aren’t assholes and don’t care. Also, I know a lot of places around where I live donate the excess food to shelters.
Who do you think throws it out? It’s not the manager, but probably one of the regular employees. They can just as easily “throw” it in their car instead…
I now know why all the restaurants require txt message confirmation of order now.
and it has to be prepaid, or the delivery driver pays it out of their pocket. I don’t understand how OP’s thing works, most likely fake and gay
The restaurants I order from don’t require prepay. You can pay online or when you pickup your order.
Ok still whoever will pick it up has to pay. All the delivery apps I know have this policy: either it’s prepaid by the customer’s bank card, or I the driver, have to pay cash out of my pockey then the customer will pay me the bill upon delivery + delivery fee.
So maybe OP means that this restaurent gives their own employees and their own delivery drivers the orders which no one came to pick up?
There’s no delivery, this is local pickup…
OP is just… not picking up their order, therefore nobody pays.
I’m familiar with every large “delivery app” service, and none involve a situation where the driver fronts their personal money. That’s ridiculous. The app service gives the driver a credit card for situations where in-person payment is required.
Win win
If you’re still some obsessed with your ex that you’re still trying to get petty revenge 3 years later, by no stretch of the imagination are you winning.
I’ve never heard of being able to order food without paying for it
Where I live you can order food and pay the delivery person with cash at your door. So the restaurant will prepare the food and send it out without taking any payment.
what if you just punch the guy in the face and take it and then your friend comes up and craps in his mouth
They have your address
not necessarily
It’s always an option!!

You’ve never ordered for local pickup? Just order over the phone or select “pay in store” online.
i tried once and they told me to call uber eats or whatever
How would uber eats provide local pickup? Are you going to meet the uber driver at the restaurant? That sounds… overly complicated…
I still have -60$ balance in one app from not picking up the order
You could say they banned me with 60 dollars to unban but I just use competition
This just means the chefs / wait staff had to work a little harder for nothing. They’re making the food and obviously not getting a tip.
The employee is still paid for producing the cooked food. The restaurant itself is not paid.
Also fuck tipping and pay people livable wages.
Robbed the kitchen of a couple minutes, robbed the host of a couple minutes, robbed the company of a couple bucks worth of food. Essentially victimless. The restaurants I worked at offered unclaimed food to staff for half price or free. Not a huge deal, essentially harmless. Half hour before close usually isn’t an inconveniently busy time.
Didn’t rob the kitchen a couple minutes. They did their job. And in this case, they may get to take home extra food that they otherwise wouldn’t have been able to. They literally get paid extra at the resteraunts dime
You seem to be attempting to disagree with me whilst agreeing with everything I’ve said. I can only only offer so many indicators of sarcasm!
Im autistic
I’m just saying that isn’t coming out of the pockets of the “corporate restaurant”. A lot of stuff gets thrown away anyway. The real people who are “paying for” the free food are restaurant workers who want to clean up and go home.
The staff are the ones hurting from this? Give me a break
No, they want free food
If its got delivery I doubt the chef’s got the tips.
It’s takeout.
And I still doubt the chefs get the tips, if there is an option to deliver. Atleast at the places I worked, if there a was a delivery option; tips went to drivers.
I hate my ex wife, haha, women bad
some ex partners absolutely hate each other’s guts, that’s not a chauvinistic thing, that’s an unfortunate but un-gendered fact of life.
Youre being far to forgiving and understanding of the average 4chan misogynist. After 3 years if youre still doing this petty controlling shit, just a little reminder, trying to get under yheir skin, maybe youre the issue
Of course it’s really shitty behaviour, I totally agree there. I just don’t ascribe it to misogynism.
If you’re still obsessed with your ex in this way 3 years later, the joke is definitely on you!
$500 says you’ve never replied to a post where a woman implies her ex-husband was a bad person with “I hate my ex husband, haha, men bad”
but maybe they love their husband
Hating your ex and actively trying to negatively affect them years after divorce are not the same thing lol
Bunch of children on this post smh
These damn women, we cant let them keep getting away with it, youre so right!
Excellent work, now this dude hasn’t gotten away with it.
It doesn’t seem unreasonable to me that someone dislikes their ex-wife. It’s implied with the term “ex” that there was something wrong with the relationship that couldn’t be salvaged. Must everything be seen through the lens of misogyny?
Haha, divorce bad, domestic abuse charges go brrr
