Custom painted Roland AX-7 inspired by Henrik Klingenbergs AX-1. It’s signed by Sonata Arctica. It’s my first keytar and it’s so much fun to play!
This is a great way to check whether the horrible asshole mods from /r/guitar are moderating here without specifically asking. 😂
Bro that’s fucking awesome
I’ll allow it
I, also, allow it.
I too, allow it.
Upon continued consideration and in addition to your allowance, I hereby reaffirm and reinvigorate my allowance.
Nice! What’s the reasoning for having C and E as the only white keys?
Looks real cool.
fair enough haha. And indeed it does!
Not OP, but I’m thinking style for the most part. Same thing with guitars with the inlays and fret markers.
Possibly because they border the half tones skipped in scale construction. Looks interesting!
Does it djent?
Wat?
Ehhh that was cringy af. No my keytar does not produce cringe inducing content as far as I am aware.
Its like 7 years old, like all things, it was funny at the time, 2.1m views is fair evidence of that. Although steve terry berry is a bit cringe in general.
But i have to say it’s fairly ironic calling that cringe when you have a keytar, and one signed by Sonata Arctica at that.
And i say that both as a fan of Sonata Arctica, and an owner of a roland ax synth.
Djent as a genre isn’t cringe, its metal af. Much like Sonata Arctica

Like I get the joke, but it’s not my sense of humor. So I kinda winced. Might have been a kond of dickish reply, but that was my genuine reaction to seeing that at the time.
How did so many wubcubs find me on here so recently?
Yeah, it is pretty cringe these days. I agree. At the time it was pretty funny. But only because what “funny” is, changes like the wind. We grow up, we evokve, new generations and social media platforms redefine whats funny and what is cringe.
This had ita moment, but it was fleeting.
For some reason I cant reply directly to @treczoks@kbinsocial
So here is this.
It’s never been an official term, I think back in time they were called “shoulder synths” but someone noticed it’s a keyboard played like a guitar and someone was like "ooh "keytar! "came about and it was just way catchier, thus the keytar moniker was born!
At least I think that’s how it went. It’s been years since I looked into it, so I coupd be full of shit. Someone correct me if I am wrong tho. Too lazy to active research right now.

It is I keytard from the first wubbys got talent stream. I really boofed it.
Nahh, the video was great. You can shred.
Omg that was you? I loved that video. You are sick!
Wubby7
Did you guys look me up after the catastrophe last night?
3 wubby fans finding me on here after that is surprising to say the least.
The fact that you got Henrik to autograph it is the Chef’s Kiss.
As long as it shreds! Dope blue fade on that bad boy
Sick! Great to see another keytar lover. I have the AX-Edge which is a much heavier beast but also fun to play.
I had one! I just sold it though, because I never used it. And I needed to cover medical bills. It was also way too bulky for my liking.
Yeah it is just slightly too bulky, but does work better for two handed playing if you don’t mind T-Rex arms.
Sounds to me like you need a longer strap, or to relocate where you have it attached. I used the two middle points. Was able to use it two handed no worries.
TIL that those things are called Keytars. Makes sense.
No, get a synth guitar. https://www.guitar-list.com/roland/guitar-synths/roland-g-707
What if I told you that I play acoustic guitars, electric guitars, synth guitars, keytar, and synths? I appreciate the whole spectrum from end to end.
