    I’m not a native English speaker, but should it be called “anniversary”? I thought it’s only for something to be celebrate?

      It can be, but anniversary just means the date an event took place.

      So an anniversary could be for the day a couple met, or it could be for the day of a loved one’s passing. Either works.
